Abstract
La réalisation d’un projet immobilier, place de la Pucelle à Rouen, a donné lieu à une fouille archéologique préventive sur une surface de 6 000 m². La localisation du site en bordure du lit holocène de la Seine a permis d’étudier d’importantes formations fluviatiles, qui ont livré du mobilier préhistorique. Les éléments les plus spectaculaires, datés de la fin de l’Âge du Bronze, sont un fragment d’embarcation monoxyle à panneau arrière, et un autre objet en bois plus énigmatique ayant pu intervenir comme élément d’assemblage dans l’embarcation.
