Ce mémoire analyse les pratiques de développement durable dans les entreprises d'économie sociale en gestion de matière résiduelle. L'objectif de l'étude est de comprendre l'intégration du développement durable dans les pratiques des entreprises d'économie sociale en gestion de matières résiduelles et plus précisément appréhender la vision des responsables sur l'équité sociale et l'efficacité économique quant à la valorisation des matières résiduelles et à son recyclage dans la région de Québec. L'analyse des résultats a permis de constater l'intégration des trois pôles de développement durable et de repérer les pratiques d'intégrité écologique, d'équité sociale et d'efficacité économique. À la lumière des résultats, cette étude a permis de mieux comprendre les pratiques de développement durable dans les entreprises d'économie sociale. Les résultats révèlent qu'à travers les trois principes du développement durable, ces entreprises intègrent dans leurs activités écologie, économie et société. Us renseignent aussi que, malgré les contraintes réglementaires et structurelles de l'économie sociale, les pratiques de développement durable sont facilement repérables dans leur fonctionnement.
