Abstract

Este trabajo pretende profundizar en los efectos y en las posibilidades de las políticas públicas comerciales, y las relacionadas con el comercio en el segmento de micro, pequeños y medianos negocios del sector de madera-muebles, especialmente en Honduras y en Nicaragua, y tiene como objetivos presentar una panorámica de los resultados que las políticas públicas comerciales y las políticas relacionadas con el comercio, han producido sobre el proceso de incorporación a los mercados internacionales de las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas (Mipymes) del sector madera-muebles en Honduras y en Nicaragua. A la vez, analizar comparativamente las prácticas adecuadas para el desarrollo de las Mipymes del sector de madera-muebles en los dos países, de tal forma que tales prácticas sirvan como propuestas para los tomadores de decisiones de políticas públicas en Nicaragua.
