Abstract
If every immigration story is different, the challenges that immigrant families face are often similar. With particular attention to families of Haitian and Maghrebi origin, this book reflects the multiplicity of migratory routes as well as the socio-health and school challenges faced by newcomers, such as those who have been living in Quebec for a longer time.\n\nThe authors work in the fields of education, social sciences and health; they relied on many field experiences, leaving a lot of room for family testimonials.
