Abstract
Suzhou ipek Müzesi, Çinin en önemli ipek dokumalarının yer aldığı ve sergilendiği bir müzedir. 1981-1991 yılı arasında Prof. Ms. Qian Xiaoping ve ekibi tarafından müze içinde bulunan Shang, Zhou, Han, Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing hanedanlarına ait ipekli dokumaların bakımları ve onarımlarını sağlanmıştır. 1991 yılında açılan Müze 8320 m2 'lik alanda Kuzey Pagoda Tapınağının batısında yer almaktadır. Müze içiinde 80 adet geleneksel ipek dokuma tezgahı, ve çeşitli hanedanlara ait 320 ipek örneği ve 30 adet tarihi ipek kumaş,350 adet tarihi giysi, yelpaze ve modern ipek örnekleri ve çeşitli sergi salonlarında bulunan teşhirlerde ve kültürel holde değişik etkinliklerde sunulmaktadır
