Abstract
The "Cedarbay" was built in1919 and was French-owned until 1922. She was originally known as the "Charpentier." She was sold Canadian in 1922 and was then known as the "Vernon." From1922 to 1936, she was owned by the Cedarbay Steamship Company of Montreal. During this ownership, she was renamed the "Cedarbay." While owned by the Lloyd Tankers (1936 - 1952), she was named the "Joan Virginia." She sank at Montreal in 1960 and was scrapped the following year.
