Abstract
If you'd been told before the start of the NFL season that the Seattle Seahawks would 2-4 after week six...well you wouldn't have believed it. But's it true. The Seahawks lost at home to the Carolina Panthers 27-23. Seattle had a 23-14 lead in the fourth quarter and still led 23-20 with less than a minute to go, when Panthers QB Cam Newton hit tight end Greg Olsen on this 26 yard pass play cut (Newton) Sam Rosen on Fox Sports with that call. So Seattle, the runnerup in the Super Bowl last year, finds themselves tied for last in the NFC West. The Panthers, at 5-0, are a team on the rise. Newton finished with 269 yards passing including 169 in the 4th quarter. Olsen had 7 catches for 131 yards. I'm Jack Schmerer and you're listening to Rivet.
