O perfil de funcionamento executivo no uso de substâncias \npsicoativas: um estudo de caso de um adulto jovem

Abstract
"O uso de substâncias psicoativas (SPA) tornou-se um grave problema de saúde pública em todo o mundo. A dependência química acaba trazendo prejuízos relacionados ao meio social do indivíduo e à cognição. Sabe-se que grande parte dos indivíduos que usam SPA, acabam tendo falhas no funcionamento executivo. No entanto, não parece haver consenso de quais dissociações de componentes são mais prejudicados/ afetados. Assim o objetivo deste estudo foi caracterizar através de um caso clínico o funcionamento executivo de um dependente químico de Crack/ Cocaína, Dependência de Maconha e Dependência de Nicotina. O paciente J.R. do gênero masculino, tem 30 anos de idade, 8 anos de estudo formal. Os instrumentos utilizados para avaliar o funcionamento executivo do paciente foram: o Teste de Cancelamento dos Sinos –versão 2; Teste Wisconsin de Classificação de Cartas –48 cartões, Teste Hayling, Iowa Gambling Task, e os subtestes da Bateria Montreal de Avaliação da Comunicação fluência verbal semântica, fonêmica-ortográfica e livre. As escalas Adult Self-Report Scalee Inventário Beck de Depressão (BDI-II) auxiliaram para o diagnóstico de comorbidades associadas. Encontra-se prejuízos habilidades de atenção concentrada visual e velocidade de processamento visuoespacial, bem como em de tomada de decisão e em fluência verbal com critério fonêmico-ortográficoa. Sugere-se estudos que abordem um tratamento focado nos déficits cognitivos de cada paciente para uma melhor adesão a abstinência e consequentemente a uma remissão completa."
