A propos de l’hétérogénéité des formes organisationnelles de l’économie sociale : isomorphisme vs écologie des organisations en économie sociale

Abstract
Cet article s’intéresse au problème de la diversité des formes organisationnelles des entreprises de l’économie sociale. Deux grands groupes de théories (écologie des organisations et approche néoinstitutionnaliste de l’isomorphisme institutionnel) ont mis en évidence les forces contraignantes ou habilitantes de ces formes organisationnelles. A partir des données portant sur l’économie sociale de Montréal, nous mobilisons des méthodes non-paramétrique (analyse discriminante des K plus proches voisins) et paramétrique (analyse en classes latentes) pour tester ces deux théories concurrentes. En conclusion nous discutons les faits stylisés ainsi établis. Nos résultats semblent confirmer l’approche en écologie des organisations.
