Abstract
El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar las propiedades psicométricas de la Escala de Alexitimia de Toronto en estudiantes de institutos de Trujillo, la muestra de 411 estudiantes. Para determinar las evidencias de validez; se procedió a realizar el análisis factorial confirmatorio que presentan 3 factores, Por medio del análisis factorial confirmatorio, los resultados obtenidos en base a los índices de ajuste lograron (Tabla 2). Ajuste satisfactorio en los valores de ajuste absoluto: razón de chi cuadrado (X2/gl = 2.19), error cuadrático (RMSEA = .06) y bondad del ajuste (GFI = .92), por medio de lo cual el modelo hipotético original, sugerido por el autor estaría indicando correspondencia con los datos obtenidos. Sin embargo, al revisar el ajuste comparativo, el cual analiza el modelo propuesto por el autor (modelo hipotético) de manera incremental con otros modelos, desde uno nulo, el ajuste obtenido revelo no alcanzar el criterio mínimo sugerido (CFI = .82; TLI = .805). En tanto, según el coeficiente omega los valores de fiabilidad van de 0.64, 0.74, 038 en las 3 dimensiones.
