Abstract
Trois rapports découlent du volet portant sur la prestation des services de proximité aux populations rurales. Celui-ci présente une synthèse des connaissances actuelles portant sur ce thème. Le second exposera certaines expériences novatrices concernant la prestation des services de proximité dans des territoires à faible densité de population à l’échelle du Québec ainsi que\ndans différents pays de l’OCDE. Il examinera également les conditions de transférabilité de ces expériences au contexte québécois. Enfin, le troisième énoncera quelques recommandations concernant cette problématique. Ces recherches permettront d’identifier des pistes d’actions quant\nà des modulations possibles tant d’un point de vue territorial que de celui des populations à desservir. Elles pourront également servir d’outils en ce qui a trait à l’élaboration de politiques et/ou de programmes gouvernementaux.
