Abstract
Mientras gobiemos, élites y las iglesias de los pafses ricos y de la América Latina orquestan millonarios proyectos de celebración o conmemoración del Quinto Centenario de lo que llaman "descubrimiento de América" o " Encuentro de dos Mundos, los pueblos del Tercer Mundo y particularmente de nuestro subcontinente, son abatidos por el hambre, el desempleo, los bajos salarios, la desnutrición, el cólera, la desnutrición, el desprecio, la represión, la sobre-explotación y la muerte. \nEl neoliberatismo se anunció y, a pesar de todos sus descalabros, sigue anunciándose como el modelo único de sociedad variable para el mundo. Sin embargo sabemos que esn ofensiva neocoionial responde a intereses forá¡¡eos o de élites minoritarias que desde hace 500 años aca- paran prefrogadvas económicas, pollticas, culu¡rales y religiosas en cada uno de nuestros pafses.
