Abstract
O presente artigo analisa o cenário das comunidades internacionais em relação à figura do Bacharel em Direito, com a ótica da possível regulamentação ou utilização profissional deste agente. O estudo abrange dados da à frica do Sul, Austrália, Brasil, Canadá, Estados Unidos da América, Japão, País de Gales e Reino Unido a fim de elucidar questionamentos como: a existência de regulamentação legal, as políticas púbicas criadas para que seja concedida a legalização de sua atuação, a obrigatoriedade de um curso jurídico, a remuneração e o impacto social e para o desenvolvimento local por meio deste ator. Foi utilizada pesquisa bibliográfica para elucidar tais questionamentos. Em suma, existe um nicho a ser explorado profissionalmente por meio da figura do bacharel em Direito ou do Paralegal. A profissionalização desse ator pode ter impacto direto no desenvolvimento local das comunidades, de modo a garantir o acesso à justiça ’pessoas de baixa renda.
