Abstract
Pembuatan struktur bangunan lepas pantai di perlukan perhitungan dengan melihat faktor-faktor yang terjadi di lautan tersebut, dalam kata lain faktor yang besar terjadi adalah gaya gangguan gelombang ombak yang dapat mengganggu kekuatan struktur bangunan yang akan dibuat. Untuk itu penelitian kali ini membuat alat media pembangkit gelombang dalam skala laboratorium. Dengan adanya alat media pembangkit gelombang ini juga diupayakan agar dapat menyerupai gelombang aslinya dimana semakin dalam maka kekuatan gelombang yang terbentuk semakin kecil, upaya ini merupakan implementasi dari bentuk gelombang yang terjadi di lautan lepas. Hasil dari rancangan alat media pembangkit gelombang skala laboratorium ini berukuran 3690x830x940 mm. Hasil pengamatan dan perhitungan gelombang pada alat pembangkit gelombang skala laboratorium ini didapatkan hasil 0,5 dan 0,01. Disimpulkan bahwa jenis karakterisasi gelombang yang dihasilkan pada alat tersebut adalah airy. \n \nKata Kunci : Rancang Bangun, Media Pembangkit Gelombang, Airy. \n
