Initiated as a means of reducing the cost of constructing new housing, the propsed bill would allow developers to build new housing without providing parking for cars, if within a half mile of metro, or a quarter mile of an existing bus stop. 6:14 Alexandria County, Virginia, has proposed the elimination of single-family housing by eliminating single family zoning and allowing the construction of four units in any residential neighborhood. 10:12 Over the past several years the incidence of crime against religious institutions has been on the rise. In the immediate aftermath of the Hamas attack on Israel on Oct. 7, Montgomery County Executi9ve Marc Elrich authorized additional funding for security for local organizations and religious institutions. Now, Gov.
