Alla figura di Amphiaraos – indovino, medico e guerriero argivo, legato nel mito alla saga dei Labdacidi (o Ciclo Tebano, inerente le luttuose vicende che avrebbero colpito la stirpe di Laio, di Edipo e dei suoi figli Eteocle e Polinice) e connesso nel culto a pratiche di divinazione incubatoria (enkoimesis) – è dedicato il lavoro di Chiara Terranova, edito per Aracne editrice, che va a inserirsi di diritto nel novero degli studi rivolti, nel corso dell’ultimo decennio, all’indagine su una delle molte divinità “minori” della salute, troppo spesso e a lungo neglette a favore di Asklepios.
