Abstract
Urheillessa ensiaputilanteet eivät ole ennenkuulumattomia. Tapaturmien sattuessa ensiapu aloitetaan välittömästi tapahtumapaikalla. Nopeasti aloitettu ja oikein toteutettu ensiapu voi sekä ehkäistä vammojen pahenemista että nopeuttaa toipumisaikaa. \n \nTämän toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tehdä Suomen liitokiekkoliiton käyttöön ensiapupäivystysmateriaali käyttäen jo olemassa olevaa tietoa ultimaten tyyppivammoista. Tavoitteena oli tuottaa Suomen Liitokiekkoliitolle ultimaten SM-turnauksiin ensiapu, joka on hyvin organisoitu ja ultimaten tyyppivammoihin kohdennettu. \n \nOpinnäytetyön teoriatieto kerättiin aiheeseen sopivista englanninkielisistä tutkimuksista ja suomalaisesta lääketiede- ja ensihoitokirjallisuudesta. Opinnäytetyön toiminnallisessa osuudessa yhdessä Suomen Liitokiekkoliiton kanssa toteutettiin yksi ensiapupäivystys ultimaten SM-finaalitapahtumassa.
