Abstract

Dans la première section, à l'aide de la théorie de la régulation, notre cadre théorique permettra d'asseoir les bases d'une distinction des instances, organisationnelles et institutionnelles, et des espaces, macro (le système socio-productif) et micro (l'entreprise), au sein desquels les changements prennent place dans le monde du travail. Cette première section se terminera par un rappel de la crise du fordisme et de l'émergence d'un nouveau paradigme productif. La deuxième section se penchera sur l'analyse des tensions entre les instances, organisationnelle et institutionnelle, de l'entreprise. En effet, les innovations organisationnelles butent sur les règles institutionnelles, ce qui provoque des tensions et des dilemmes pour les acteurs syndicaux dans les milieux de travail dans le cadre de leur participation à la gestion. Quant à la troisième section, elle portera sur les rapports entre l'entreprise et le système socio-productif. Pour l'essentiel, la diffusion des innovations au niveau micro est contrainte par le cadre institutionnel macro social que les acteurs sociaux ne semblent pas toujours disposés à modifier. Pour mieux illustrer ces tensions entre institutions et acteurs sociaux, nous nous pencherons brièvement, dans la dernière section, sur le « modèle québécois », où sont réunies des conditions favorables au changement du cadre institutionnel et à la diffusion des innovations locales, bien que l'inertie institutionnelle persiste. Nous tenterons alors de mieux comprendre ce paradoxe.
