Tuulisähkön tuotannon vaikutus Suomen sähkön hintaan

Abstract
Kandidaatintyössä selvitetään tuulisähkön tuotannon vaikutuksia Suomen aluehintaan. Työssä mallinnusta on tehty vain tuotantolaitoksille, joista Fingridillä on reaaliaikainen mittaus olemassa. Sähkön hintatietoina on käytetty Nord Poolin vapaasti saatavilla olevia tuntikohtaisia aluehintoja. Kandidaatintyössä on selvitetty Suomen tuulisähkön hintaa vuodelta 2021. Kandidaatin työssä on mallinnettu tehon korrelointia sähkön hinnan kanssa vuonna 2021 ja tarkasteltu tuulivoiman markkinaosuuden kasvun vaikutusta Suomen sähkön hintaan. \n \nTuulisähköstä maksettu keskimääräinen hinta Suomessa vuonna 2021 oli 67,7 €/MWh ja aluehinta 72,3 €/MWh. Suurin suhteellinen ero tuulisähkölle maksetussa hinnassa oli korkean kulutuksen aikaan ja pienin matalan kulutuksen aikaan. Tuulivoimatehon ja aluehinnan korreloinnin mallinnuksessa selvisi, että vuonna 2021 tuulisähkön tuotannon ollessa korkean kulutuksen aikaan yli 1000 MW aluehinta laski selvästi. Vastaavasti matalan kulutuksen aikaan havaittiin aluehinnan merkittävä lasku, kun tuulivoimatuotanto kasvoi yli 1500 MW. Tuulisähkön tuotannon vaikutus Suomen sähkön hintaan on kasvanut markkinaosuuden kasvaessa. Mallinnuksessa näkyy, että tuulivoimatuotannon kasvaessa tuulisähkön- ja aluehinnan suhde pienenee eli tuulisähkön tuotanto on laskenut Suomen aluehintaa. Kuitenkin tuulisähkön hinta on ollut viime vuosina nousussa johtuen investointikustannusten kasvusta. Suomen tuulivoimakapasiteetti tulee kaksinkertaistumaan lyhyessä ajassa ja Suomen ydinsähkön tuotanto kasvaa 1600 MW, jolloin tämän työn tarkastelu tuulisähkön tuotannon vaikutuksista Suomen aluehintaan tulisi tehdä uudelleen.
