Bakalaura darba temats ir „Vardarbība multiplikācijas filmā „Toms Džerijs”: pirmsskolēnu vecāki par bērnu skatīšanās paradumiem un iespējamajiem efektiem.” Pētījuma problēma ir vardarbība multiplikācijas filmā „Toms un Džerijs”, pirmsskolēnu izpratne par tās saturu. Par teorētisko bāzi kalpo Alberta Banduras Sociālās iemācīšanās teorija. Tiek aplūkotas bērnu auditorijas īpatnības, intereses un efekti, ko izraisa agresija. \nKontentanalīzes mērķis ir izpētīt desmit dažādu gadu „Toms un Džerijs” sērijas un izvērtēt, cik agresīvas tās ir. Tika izstrādāta aptauja ģimenes portālu lietotājiem Latvijā ar uzdevumu iegūt informāciju par pirmsskolēnu skatīšanās paradumiem un izpratni par „Toms un Džerijs” saturu. Darba gaitā tika secināts, ka vēlāko gadu multiplikācijas filmas ir mazāk agresīvas par 1943 - 1949. gada multfilmām. „Toms un Džerijs” vairākas reizes nedēļā skatās 52 % bērnu, pāris reizes mēnesī skatās 10 % bērnu, bet reizi pusgadā vai retāk – 7 %. \nAtslēgvārdi: vardarbība, multiplikācijas filma, bērnu auditorija, efekti
