Abstract
It is possible to trace back the material components of our world to narratives, stories — and when they become protected entities — belief systems. This work attempts to develop a methodology of tracing back the stories of material things using the architect’s senses and representation tools. It is a study of five things in the EU Quarters of Brussels that aims to unbuild belief systems by exploring the materialisation of their narratives and to disclose potentialities of narratives through their temporalities. Visitors are encouraged to sit around the Table of Negotiation of Time and the drawings. Such space, a crafted table gathering viewers to sit, talk, investigate, examine, negotiate temporalities of the EU Quarter — and develop alternative ways of using temporalities in belief systems that can help us build euchronias of the continent.
