Abstract
外傷性頚部症候群の臨床像や治療ガイドラインに関する報告として，カナダにおけるケベックむち打ち症関連障害特別調査団（The Quebec Task Force on Whiplash-Associated Disorders）の調査報告，およびわが国における日本交通科学協議会「むち打ち損傷研究会」の調査・研究がある.いずれの報告も，患者の早期社会復帰を促すこと，入院等の重症感をあおる治療を避けるべきであることを強調している.本稿では，これらの2つの調査・研究を紹介し，本症の症状に関連すると思われる，Barre-Lieou 症候群，椎骨脳底動脈循環不全，低髄液圧症候群についても言及する
