Abstract
Метою статті є коротко схарактеризувати організацію освіти дорослих в англомовних країнах (США, Канада).\nРозгорнутий досвід включення програм для навчання дорослого населення Канади свідчить, що базою для їхньої професійної підготовки, перепідготовки й підвищення кваліфікації слугують університети та коледжі відповідно до потреб суспільства. Основними завданнями освіти дорослих у Канаді є: отримання базових знань для подальшого навчання або виходу на ринок праці; підвищення загального рівня грамотності; посилення технологічної грамотності, удосконалення комунікативних навичок.\nНа сучасному етапі розвитку США виокремлюється три основні типи освіти дорослих такі як: формальна, неформальна та інформальна освіта. «формальна освіта» відбувається, в основному, в освітньому середовищі закладів вищої освіти, здобуття «неформальної освіти» відбувається в різних сферах навчальної діяльності дорослих, «інформальна освіта» супроводжує повсякденне життя та не обов‟язково має цілеспрямований характер. Усі ці типи освіти дорослих взаємопов‟язані та взаємозумовлені. Система освіти дорослих у США має такі складові: навчальні заклади формальної і неформальної освіти; комітети, ради, коаліції, асоціації з питань освіти дорослих. Провайдерами освіти дорослих у США є університети та коледжі. Досвід проаналізованих країн, позитивні ідеї можна творчо використовувати в Україні.The purpose of the article is to briefly describe the organization of adult education in English-speaking countries (USA, Canada).\nThe extensive experience of integrating Canadian adult learning programs suggests that universities and colleges are the basis for their vocational training, retraining and advanced training in accordance with the needs of society. The main tasks of adult education in Canada are: obtaining basic knowledge for further study or entry into the labor market; raising the general level of literacy; enhancement of technological literacy, improvement of communicative skills.\nAt the current stage of development of the United States, three main types of adult education are identified: formal, informal and informal education. "Formal education" occurs mainly in the educational environment of higher education institutions, the acquisition of "non-formal education" takes place in various spheres of educational activity of adults, "informal education" accompanies daily life and does not necessarily have a purposeful character. All these types of adult education are interconnected and interconnected. The adult education system in the United States has the following components: formal and informal educational institutions; committees, councils, coalitions, adult education associations. There are universities and colleges in the United States for adult education providers. The experience of the analyzed countries, positive ideas can be creatively used in Ukraine.
