Abstract
SažetakGospodarski razvoj svakog društva ovisan je o upravljanju novim znanjem, tj.o upravljanju idejama, inovacijama i izumima, a pretpostavka uspješnog ekonomskog razvoja temelji se na efikasnom upravljanju novim znanjem.Znanstvene institucije diljem svijeta trebaju biti značajan izvor novog znanja te dati doprinos u kreiranju i promociji novih proizvoda, čija bi komercijalizacija omogućila gospodarski rast i razvoj.Takva promocija sve više postaje virtualna, i to zahvaljujući novim informacijskim tehnologijama.Na temelju istraživanja koja su izvršena sadržajnom analizom na dva istovrsna prezentacijska portala novog znanja, hrvatskom i kanadskom, uočeno je da hrvatske znanstvene institucije virtualno ne promoviraju novo znanje, dok su znanstvene institucije razvijenih zemalja iznimno učinkovite u virtualnoj promociji.Ovim znanstvenim radom uspostavljena je i korelacija između virtualne promocije novog znanja te stupnja gospodarske razvijenosti.
