Abstract
'Això no és una inauguració!'. Amb aquest suggerent títol, la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech (UPC) ha inaugurat el curs acadèmic 2023-2024 amb una mirada diferent. Ha estat una hora i mitja d’inauguració, amb música, teatre i entrevistes, conduïda per la periodista de Catalunya Ràdio Mercè Folch. El convidat principal ha estat el fotoperiodista Bernat Armangué, alumni del Centre de la Imatge i la Tecnologia Multimèdia (CITM) de la UPC i que recentment ha guanyat el premi Pulitzer 2023 de fotografia per la cobertura de la guerra d'Ucraïna per a l’agència Associated Press. L'acte també ha comptat amb entrevistes al rector de la UPC, Daniel Crespo; el conseller de Recerca i Universitats, Joaquim Nadal i Farreras; la presidenta del Consell Social, Montse Guàrdia, i el coordinador de Política Externa del Consell de l’Estudiantat de la UPC, Gerard Bosch. Durant l’acte, també s’ha presentat la memòria del curs 2022-2023, a càrrec de la secretària general, Ana B. Cortinas. I les actuacions de l'Aula de Teatre de la UPC, el grup de música ‘Cadència Industrial’ i les corals d'Arquitectura i de Terassa i l’Orquestra UPC.
