Abstract
Gli Autori espongono in forma sintetica i risultati di pluriennali rilievi effettuati sulla fauna afidica della Puglia. Gli oltre 600 reperti originali di campo, integrati dalle notizie letterarie sull'argomento, hanno consentito l'elencazione di 243 specie e sottospecie delle quali oltre 150 risultano segnalate per la prima volta nella regione. Fra di esse figurano nove entità inedite per la fauna italiana, su ciascuna delle quali viene riportato un breve commento. Le specie riscontrate nel territorio in esame rappresentano, nel loro complesso, circa un terzo della fauna italiana degli afidi. La maggioranza delle specie ha una geonemia di tipo paleartico; fra esse prevalgono le entità sud-europee e mediterranee, alle quali si aggiunge qualche elemento a diffusione transionica.
