Abstract
Captured prison escapee David Sweat's out of the hospital and back in maximum security after three weeks on the run. Reuters says Sweat'll be locked up in his cell alone for 23 hours a day and put on suicide watch. He and his partner Richard Matt escaped on June sixth.... Matt was shot and killed by a federal agent only about 27 miles from the prison. And Sweat was shot twice in the torso when he was captured near the Canadian border. He's progressed from critical to fair condition over the past week. Two prison workers've been charged with helping them escape. They're accused of smuggling hacksaw blades and a screwdriver bit to the pair. Sweat'll be charged with first-degree escape. But he's already serving life without parole for the murder of a Sheriff's deputy in 2002.
