Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Members of the American lobster fishery fear a trade deal between Canada and the European Union could amount to a lump of coal for the U.S. at Christmastime. U.S. lobster exports could be impacted by a trade deal between Canada and the European Union, according to members of the American lobster fishery.Christmastime is typically a busy time of year for American seafood exporters, since lobster is popular in some European countries around the holiday. But Canada and the EU brokered a deal this year that gets rid of tariffs on Canadian lobster exports to the 28-nation bloc.Canada is the other major lobstering nation, and it's now at an economic advantage over the U.S.American lobster exports to some key European nations have fallen somewhat in recent years.Exports to France fell from more than $42 million in 2006 to less than $27 million in 2016....though exports to Asia have exploded.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
