Bibliographic record
Abstract
At first glance, tale appears to be a beneficial tool for sparking children’s interest and for studying the French language. However, its use remains limited in French as a foreign language courses. This dissertation focuses on the design and implementation of an immersive and playful French language learning device for children aged five to ten enrolled in the summer camps at the Alliance Française Vancouver. The study explores how tales can contribute to creating this learning environment. The results highlight promising approaches to exploiting tales, such as establishing a common thread with other activities, as well as reading, writing and inventive elements. There various methods help establish a framework conducive to learn French in a playful and immersive way, while facilitating the management of children’s behaviours in the classroom.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
