Abstract
El principal objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar rigurosamente el riesgo beta de los planes de pensiones del Sistema Individual en España para el período 1995-2003, analizando su caracterización y estabilidad, así como su predicción a través de diversas medidas que permitan ratificar los resultados. Para ello, se analiza la muestra de planes de forma conjunta e igualmente dividida en tres grupos en función del peso de la renta variable (renta variable-variable mixta, renta fija mixta II y renta fija mixta I), y se utilizan cuatro aproximaciones distintas para la cartera de mercado.
