Abstract
Diplomová práce se bude věnovat stručné charakteristice filosofického a literárního směru existencialismu a bude rozdělena do osmi kapitol. V jednotlivých kapitolách bude provedena analýza existencialismu francouzského filosofa, publicisty, spisovatele a dramatika Jean-Paul Sartra, který významně ovlivnil francouzské filosofické myšlení dvacátého a také první polovinu jednadvacátého století. Metodicky se opíral o fenomenologii, ačkoliv odmítal Husserlovu koncepci transcendentálního Já. Odmítal také esencialismus tradiční metafyziky, což se promítlo do jeho pojetí vědomí. Následně bude přiblížena jeho literární tvorba, zejména dvě stěžejní díla: Nevolnost a Zeď, kde bude proveden rozbor a porovnání těchto románů. Práce bude dále zaměřena na život a dílo francouzského spisovatele, dramatika, filosofa a publicisty Alberta Camuse, rozbor a porovnání jeho románů Cizinec a Pád, které velmi vystihují Camusovy názory. Základní myšlenkou A. Camuse bylo najít východisko z odcizení současného člověka, které viděl v revoltě proti pocitu absurdity, jež se člověka ujímá při vidění světa a svého současného postavení v něm. Závěrečná kapitola se bude věnovat motivům existencialismu, konkrétně mezilidským vztahům a smrti.
