Esta monografia trata da quest??o separatista, com ??nfase para as demandas que emergiram ap??s a dissolu????o da Uni??o Sovi??tica, que s??o de grande relev??ncia para a compreens??o das novas din??micas presentes nas Rela????es Internacionais. ?? medida que novos atores internacionais se multiplicam vertiginosamente num contexto mundial globalizado, eles contestam a vis??o estatoc??ntrica que rege a comunidade internacional. \nO presente trabalho tem por objetivo examinar o caso do Quebec, para entender o funcionamento de unidades subnacionais na nova ordem internacional e para analisar a import??ncia de um trabalho pol??tico coordenado e dialogado que poderia transformar uma demanda separatista sangrenta e genocida em uma causa de reconhecimento da identidade de um povo.
