El Hospital General de las Fuerzas Armadas es uno de los referentes a nivel nacional, constituyéndose en uno de los mejores centros de atención de tercer nivel. El HG.1 actualmente tiene una congestión del servicio de consulta externa, la misma que se produce especialmente debido a que existe una sobredemanda generada por la falta de un sistema que organice las citas médicas y suministre la suficiente información a los usuarios a fin de mejorar el servicio al cliente.
