Aquest estudi fa una anàlisi comparativa entre la construcció prefabricada, 
\nconcepció industrialitzada de l'edificació i l'artesania de la construcció convencional. Es realitza una 
\nanàlisi a partir de la construcció convencional, constituïda bàsicament d'estructura de formigó armat i peces ceràmiques, vers la construcció prefabricada, analitzant dues tipologies dins
\nd'aquesta construcció industrialitzada: la construcció prefabricada de tipus pesada formada per 
\npeces de formigó armat i la construcció prefabricada de tipus lleugera d'acer, combinada amb elements de fusta i de tipus modular. L'estudi no és tan a nivell constructiu ni s'analitzen les solucions constructives de cada sistema 
\nsinó que aquestes ja venen definides per cada projecte inicial facilitat per Prêt a Porter de 
\nPrefabricats Pujol (en el cas de construcció prefabricada pesada) i INUIT d''Eideé Arquitectes (en 
\nel cas del prefabricat lleuger)
\nS'estableix un prototip d'habitatge al qual s'ajustaran els altres dos projectes per tal que els 
\nresultats obtinguts siguin més a aproximats
