El estrés percibido es un estado donde existen reacciones físicas, psicológicas y de
\ncomportamiento frente a situaciones que se perciben como una amenaza o fuera de control para el individuo, siendo la pandemia por COVID 19 un escenario perfecto para
\nexperimentar estrés. El objetivo general de este estudio es determinar si el estrés percibido en estudiantes de pregrado de una universidad en la región Lambayeque durante la pandemia por COVID19 difiere según el sexo, ciclo académico y si estuvo en contacto o no con parientes contagiados por la enfermedad. Se trabajó a un nivel descriptivo, comparativo, con 455 estudiantes de pregrado de una Universidad del departamento de Lambayeque, de diferentes escuelas profesionales y ciclos académicos. Se utilizó como instrumento de medición al Perceived Stress Scale (PSS 14) de Cohen, Kmarck y Mermelstein en el año 1983. Los resultados principales indican que las mujeres tienden a percibir mayor estrés que los hombres. Además, los estudiantes de ciclos inferiores suelen estresarse más que los estudiantes de ciclos superiores. Así mismo, estudiantes que sí estuvieron en contacto con parientes contagiados por la enfermedad perciben mayor estrés versus aquellos que no
\nestuvieron en contacto. Por último, se concluye que existen diferencias según el sexo y ciclo académico, pero a nivel de contagio familiar no existen diferencias significativas en la muestra estudiada.
