Green Care -menetelmät ovat luonto- ja eläinavusteisia hoitomenetelmiä, jotka ovat osoittautuneet hyödyllisiksi ihmisten hyvinvoinnin edistämisessä. Sairaanhoitajat ovat alttiita työn fyysiselle ja henkiselle kuormitukselle, mikä voi johtaa työuupumukseen ja alentuneeseen työhyvinvointiin. Tämän kirjallisuuskatsauksen tarkoituksena on selvittää, miten Green Care -menetelmät voivat tukea sairaanhoitajien työhyvinvointia. \n \nKatsauksessa käytiin läpi aiheeseen liittyvää tutkimuskirjallisuutta ja artikkeleita. Tulosten perusteella Green Care -menetelmät voivat tukea sairaanhoitajien työhyvinvointia monin tavoin. Luontoympäristössä oleskelun on todettu vähentävän stressiä, ahdistusta ja masennusta, joten esimerkiksi luontoon suuntautuvat aktiviteetit, kuten metsäkävelyt, voivat olla hyödyllisiä sairaanhoitajan stressinhallinnassa. \n \nEläinten läsnäolon on myös osoitettu vähentävän stressiä ja ahdistusta, ja esimerkiksi eläinterapiassa sairaanhoitajat voivat kokea merkityksellisiä hetkiä eläinten kanssa ja samalla rentoutua ja saada mielihyvää. \n \nYhteenvetona voidaan todeta, että Green Care -menetelmät voivat tarjota monipuolisia mahdollisuuksia sairaanhoitajien työhyvinvoinnin tukemiseen. Green Care -toimintaa tulisi huomioida myös sairaanhoitajien koulutuksessa ja työpaikkojen hyvinvointiohjelmissa. Lisäksi tulevaisuudessa tarvitaan lisää tutkimusta aiheesta ja menetelmien kehittämistä.
