HUBUNGAN INTENSITAS NYERI DAN DISABILITAS AKTIVITAS TERHADAP KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN OSTEOARTHRITIS LUTUT DI BANDAR LAMPUNG

Abstract
Latar Belakang: Osteoarthritis (OA) merupakan penyakit degeneratif akibat inflamasi kronis pada sendi. Manifestasi klinis adalah nyeri sendi dan disabilitas aktivitas yang mengganggu aktivitas fisik dan menurunkan kualitas hidup pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara intensitas nyeri dan disabilitas aktivitas terhadap kualitas hidup pasien OA lutut guna meningkatkan strategi pengelolaan penyakit di tingkat individu maupun layanan kesehatan. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional. Sebanyak 58 responden penelitian diwawancarai dengan 3 kuesioner yaitu Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) untuk mengetahui intensitas nyeri, Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC) untuk mengetahui tingkat disabilitas aktivitas, dan Arthritis Impact Measurement Scale 2 Short Form (AIMS2-SF) untuk menilai kualitas hidup pasien OA. Hasil Penelitian: Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dilakukan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Analisis bivariat dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji statistik spearman. Berdasarkan analisis univariat didapatkan hasil yaitu sebagian besar pasien osteoarthritis lutut memiliki tingkat nyeri sedang, tingkat disabilitas aktivitas sedang, dan kualitas hidup yang baik. Hasil analisis bivariat dengan menggunakan uji statistik spearman didapatkan yaitu terdapat hubungan bermakna antara intensitas nyeri dan kualitas hidup (p=0,000) dengan kekuatan korelasi sedang (r=0,536). Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara disabilitas aktivitas dan kualitas hidup (p=0,000) dengan kekuatan korelasi sedang (r=0,451). Kesimpulan: Terdapat korelasi bermakna antara intensitas nyeri dan disabilitas aktivitas terhadap kualitas hidup pada pasien osteoartritis lutut di Bandar Lampung. The clinical manifestations are joint pain and activity disability, which interfere physical activities and decrease the quality of life of patients. This study aims to examine the relationship between pain intensity and activity disability with the quality of life in knee OA patients, in order to improve disease management strategies at both the individual and healthcare service levels. Methodology: This study uses a cross-sectional research design. A total of 58 respondents were interviewed using three questionnaires: the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) to assess pain intensity, the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC) to assess the level of activity disability, and the Arthritis Impact Measurement Scale 2 Short Form (AIMS2-SF) to evaluate the quality of life in OA patients. Results: The collected data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses. The bivariate analysis was performed using the Spearman statistical test. Based on univariate analysis, it was found that most knee osteoarthritis patients had moderate pain levels, moderate activity disability, and good quality of life. Bivariate analysis using spearman statistical test revealed a significant relationship between pain intensity and quality of life (p=0.000) with a moderate correlation strength (r=0.536). A significant relationship was also found between activity disability and quality of life (p=0.000) with a moderate correlation strength (r=0.451). Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between pain intensity and activity disability with quality of life in knee osteoarthritis patients in Bandar Lampung.
