Abstract
Conformément à la résolution 3128(XXVIIl) de l'Assemblée générale qui demandait la convocation d'une conférence des Nations Unies sur les établissements humains, une conférence s’est réunie sur ce thème a Vancouver (Canada) du 31 mai au 11 juin 1976. Elle a été précédée par des conférences préparatoires régionales et la conférence préparatoire régionale sur les établissements humains pour l'Afrique, organisée conjointement par la CEA et le secrétariat d’Habitat, a eu lieu au Caire (Egypte) du 19 au 26 juin 1975.
