Abstract
Electrical shock caused by using a children's nightlight is the reason behind Ikea's latest product recall. A children's night light that can apparently deliver an electric shock to users has been recalled by Ikea... The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the company's recalling more than 400-THOUSAND 'Patrull' nightlights. It comes after several complaints...including one case in Austria where a child tried to remove it from an outlet...and the plastic cover came off. The child had a minor shock and ended up with wounds on the hand. So far no injuries have been reported in the U-S or Canada. The C-P-S-C says the lights come in white, orange and pink colors and are sold for about $4-dollars. If you have one, stop using it and return it to the store for a full refund.
