Abstract
In this article we discuss\nhow the relations between conquerors and conquered\nin the Crown of Aragon, during the reign of James I the Conqueror,\nconstituted representations in the last quarter of the XIII were between\nattraction an repulsion. Besides enemies of the Crown and Christianity, the\nsaracens were also represented in the\nLlibre dels Feyts\nas good servants and\ngood vassals. In our perspective, the narrative plays the role of a mirror, not as\na mere reflection of the relations between christians and muslims, but as the\nconstruction of a representation on them, according to the perceptions and\ninterests of a christian king.
