MARSHALLTOWN) -Jodi Tymeson, Commandant of the Iowa Veterans Home, today announced Michael Jarrell will begin his duties as the Chief Operating Officer on January 3. "Mike has been licensed in Iowa since 1994, and he brings over 16 years of Iowa nursing home administration experience to the IVH team." said Tymeson."He will be instrumental in leading our team and contributing to our commitment to become the best State Veterans Home in the nation."Jarrell earned a B.A. in Marketing at the University of Northern Iowa, and his Long Term Care Administrator Certificate at DMACC.He worked as a purchasing director for 12 years prior to his nursing home experience."I believe the mission of care for those in our charge is of highest priority." said Jarrell."Efforts by all divisions will go to the quality of life for our residents.
