Abstract
Tein opinnäytetyönäni kansanmusiikkia sisältävän CD-tallenteen, jonka Kansanmusiikki-instituutti julkaisi heinäkuussa 2013. Kansanmusiikki-instituutille tilaustyönä tehty CD kantaa nimeä Kampi-Klemetin nuottikirja ja on tiettävästi Suomen ensimmäinen kaupallinen julkaisu, jolla kampiliira-niminen soitin näyttelee pääosaa. Kampiliira on Euroopassa laajalti tunnettu kansansoitin, mutta Suomesta viitteitä kampiliiran soitosta on löytynyt todella vähän. CD:n teemana olikin pohtia, miltä suomalainen perinnemusiikki olisi voinut kuulostaa kampiliiralla, jos soitinta olisi täällä soitettu.\n\nOpinnäytetyöni kirjallinen osuus esittelee kampiliiran toimintaa ja soittimen historiaa, CD- tallenteen taiteellisen sisällön sekä oman historiani kampiliiransoittajana ja soittimen tutkijana. Teksti esittelee myös tallenteen sävelmien lähdeteokset, joista osa on monille kansanmusiikin ammattilaisillekin vieraita ja joiden soisi olevan paremmin tunnettuja.\n\nKampi-Klemetin nuottikirja tarjoaa tekijänsä näkemyksen siitä, mitä suomalainen kansan- ja säätyläismusiikki olisi voinut olla 1700- ja 1800- luvuilla.
