Abstract
Ce rapport de recherche fait état des résultats d’une recherche portant sur la victimisation criminelle des personnes itinérantes à Montréal. À partir d’une analyse thématique de 17 entrevues semi-directives, réalisées auprès d’itinérants fréquentant le centre de jour de l’Accueil Bonneau, différents thèmes sont abordés. Dans un premier temps, il s’agit de décrire les expériences de victimisation vécues par les personnes itinérantes (nature, circonstances, source et conséquences) et de montrer, notamment, le rôle que peuvent jouer les interactions sociales dans les expériences de victimisation. Dans la dernière partie du rapport, nous traitons de la prise en charge des personnes itinérantes victimisées et des interactions qu’entretiennent les personnes itinérantes avec les acteurs susceptibles d’intervenir suite à l’avènement d’une expérience de victimisation (police, ambulanciers, etc.).
