Abstract
La moda canadese ha avuto un enorme sviluppo nell'ultimo decennio, ispirandosi anche alla tradizione etnica per imporsi nel panorama globalizzato contemporaneo. Questo libro, il primo in Italia sull'argomento, esamina i vari aspetti che gravitano intorno alla moda canadese dalla produzione industriale all'utilizzo di disegni e tessuti della cultura inuit e cerca di rispondere alle seguenti domande: Quali sono i maggiori stilisti canadesi? Quale approccio hanno alla creazione dei modelli? Che cosa rimane dell'originario spirito delle popolazioni native?
