Abstract
La notion de sacr est difficile dfinir.Pourtant, depuis le dbut du XX e sicle, elle est la base de la dfinition de la religion, et ce mme si le sacr excde la sphre religieuse, comme le prouve l'existence d'une sacralit laque, de nos jours.Nous cherchons connatre ici le contenu smantique de cette notion.Nous avons men notre recherche chez des auteurs qui ont contribu dvelopper la notion de sacr au dbut du sicle dernier.Nous avons mis jour cinq lments pour dfinir le sacr.En expliquant chacun d'eux, nous en profitons pour rflchir sur les rapports entre le sacr et la communication.
