Abstract
Il testo affrontata il tema dell’evoluzione del bugnato nell’edilizia storica, dalla sua introduzione fino al Novecento affrontando specificatamente l’evoluzione costruttiva.\nPartendo dalla pietra, con la quale sono state introdotte le bugne, gli autori analizzano i principali materiali impiegati negli apparati decorativi che hanno trovato ampia diffusione dal settecento in poi (laterizio, intonaco e pietra artificiale).\nSono analizzate a fondo le tipologie di bugnato nel corso dei secoli, le tecnologie che hanno interessato la lavorazione dei paramenti e degli ancoraggi alla muratura portante. \nSono riportate tavole di sintesi che descrivono i magisteri costruttivi e le lavorazioni ricorrenti.
