L'objectif du présent mémoire est d’investiguer la relation entre la représentation des femmes au conseil d’administration des entreprises canadiennes cotées et l’efficacité des politiques des investissements et ce en examinant les coûts de sous-investissement et les coûts de surinvestissement. Cette étude est basée sur un échantillon d’entreprises canadiennes cotées dans la période qui s’étale de 2015 à 2019, soit 645 observations. Les résultats obtenus montrent un lien positif entre la représentation des femmes au conseil d’administration des entreprises et l’efficacité des politiques des investissements. Les résultats montrent aussi que la représentation des femmes au conseil réduit considérablement les coûts de surinvestissement.
