Abstract
Ce rapport est structuré de la manière suivante : dans un premier temps, nous rappelons les éléments historiques, politiques et institutionnels qui structurent le champ éducatif québécois et rendent possible, tout en l’encadrant, la concurrence entre les établissements; dans un second temps, après avoir rappelé l’origine des classements d’établissements scolaires canadiens, nous analysons le discours de légitimation du Bulletin des écoles québécois en dégageant les effets positifs attendus; dans un troisième temps, nous explicitons notre démarche empirique, la base de données construite, les choix opérés et les analyses effectuées; dans un quatrième temps, nous rapportons et discutons les principaux résultats. En conclusion, nous réfléchissons aux implications de ces résultats au plan des modèles théoriques en débat et des politiques éducatives.
