Como consecuencia de la politica neoliberal y la globalizacion "impuesta" por el FMI y el BM, aparecen diversos tratados de libre comercio de los cuales cabe destacar el NAFTA, por ser el primer tratado celebrado entre paises desarrollados y paises en via de desarrollo (Canada, Mexico y Estados Unidos), y en virtud del cual se crea el árca de libre comercio mas grande del mundo, la cual ha generado por una parte, consecuencias favorables para un sector de la economia y por otra parte, consecuencias nefastas para otros
