Pembahasan dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai moral dalam novel Sairensu. Tujuan penelitian adalah menguraikan unsur instrinsik pembangun moral di dalam novel Sairensu, mengkaji nilai ganbaru yang ada di dalam novel Sairensu berdasarkan nilai moral yang dikemukakan oleh Nurgiyantoro yaitu hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri dan hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain dalam lingkup sosial termasuk dengan lingkungan alam. Kemudian teori menurut Allison Annie dan Duke yaitu tentang nilai ganbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Hasil analisis data yang ditemukan yaitu nilai ganbaru yang berwujud pantang menyerah, semangat berjuang, keteguhan, keuletan, kegigihan, bertahan dan ketabahan. Serta ditemukannya nilai moral urban dan sub urban dalam penelitian ini.
